Privacy Policy

Echoveil is developed and operated by Clearline Tech Methods LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use the Echoveil app, how we use it, and what choices you have.

We built Echoveil for players, not advertisers. We collect only what we need to make the game work and keep your progress safe.

What We Collect

When you use Echoveil, we may collect:

• Device identifier — a random ID generated on install, used to sync your characters and campaign progress. We do not collect your name, email, or Apple ID unless you choose to sign in.
• Game data — characters, campaigns, choices, and AI conversation history, stored so the game can remember your story across sessions.
• Crash reports and performance data — anonymous diagnostic information used to fix bugs. This data cannot identify you personally.
• Purchase records — if you make an in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction. We receive only a receipt token to verify your purchase; we do not see your payment details.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect your real name, email address, or phone number (unless you contact us directly).
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your data to serve you ads.
• We do not share your story or gameplay choices with anyone outside the app.

AI Game Master

Echoveil uses an AI-powered game master to generate narrative responses and remember your campaign history. Your in-game choices and AI conversation history are processed to deliver this experience. This data is stored on our servers and used only to run your game. We do not use your gameplay data to train external AI models.

Data Storage and Security

Your game data is stored on servers in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices to protect it. Your device identifier and campaign data are retained for as long as you have the app installed. You can delete your data at any time by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Echoveil is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. To do so, email us at privacy@echoveil.gg. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app. Continued use of Echoveil after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
